The Event

First Ever Snowbowl Shoot

Two courses.

Due to being a one day shoot, we have limited spots to 300 shooters for this year's event. In 2027 the plan is a 3 day weekend shoot with access to additional lifts and entries will be unlimited.

Course #1

EXTREME — The Lift Course

EXTREME Course #1 is the lift course. You do not need to buy a separate lift ticket as the lift is included in the price of the shoot.

Course #1 is an extreme course with up to 30 targets. The ski lift will take you to the top at 9,500' and you will hike down the course. This course will have a mix of moderate to extreme downhill hiking and terrain. The targets will represent actual hunting scenarios and shots will be from 20 to 80 yards with plenty of shots through obstructions and obstacles — making this course very realistic and challenging.

Important Note

The terrain at some areas will be steep, so we label it extreme. Combined with high elevation, this course is for shooters who are able to navigate this kind of terrain safely.

Course #2

Family Friendly & MBH Course

Course #2 is a 25 target course and it will not require the use of a lift. It will start at the bottom by the Agassiz Lodge with easy to moderate terrain and hiking. This will be the more family friendly course as well as the MBH course, with shots from 20 to 60 yards.

The MBH competition shooters will have fixed spots to shoot from, while fun shooters can always walk closer to any targets to make the shot within their comfort zone.

Example

If the standard 3D target is at 45 yards at a station, a pink flamingo will be set at 90 yards. If you decide to shoot it and hit the ten ring for a score of 10, it will be worth 20.
